Supported Living

At GINA OUTREACH, INC.:

It is the policy of GOSI that all people receiving Supported Living services are provided with such services in a way that ensures each person’s health and safety while ensuring compliance with all standards and regulations governing Supported Living services. It is GOSI’s philosophy that each person receiving Supported Living services will be supported to live with as much independence as possible and become valued members of their communities. GOSI will be diligent with monitoring skill development and progression for each person and will provide Supported Living services with the expectation that each person will progress to the fullest extent possible toward living independently. GOSI will also ensure the following:

• All employees providing Supported Living services are trained pursuant to GOSI and Department on Disability Services (DDS) policies governing employee training
• All employees meet requirements established by sections 1900 (General Provisions) and 1934 (Supported Living) of Chapter 19 of Title 29 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR) as well as those established by GOSI
• Supported Living services are delivered in compliance with all other applicable DDS policies, standards, and procedures, and as outlined in corresponding GOSI policies and procedures
